Dr. Yusuf M. Azim is a distinguished, award winning psychiatrist with robust educational background including medical school training at the highly renowned Medical College of Virginia (MCV/VCU in Richmond) and residency training at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He is board-certified in General Psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

Dr. Azim has extensive clinical training and experience including being the former medical director of neuromodulation and regional medical director for Bloom Health Centers.

Dr. Azim maintains active medical licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C., allowing him to serve diverse patient populations across the D.C. Metropolitan area.

Dr. Azim is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds active medical licenses in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. He previously served as Medical Director of Neuromodulation Programs at Bloom Health Centers, where he played a key role in developing and overseeing advanced treatment modalities within a large, multidisciplinary psychiatric group practice.

Today, Dr. Azim is the founder and lead psychiatrist at NovaCare Psychiatry, where he continues to focus on individualized, evidence-based care. His clinical approach integrates medication management, psychotherapy, and advanced interventions such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and ketamine-based therapies.
